Daily RSI for BNB is showing a reading of 39.13. The figure does not lie in the oversold category. The asset’s price recently broke down from a two-week-long support level. At this point, that particular thing counts more in comparison to the price drop itself.

The native coin of the Binance ecosystem, BNB is changing hands at $561.94 and has broken down through the $580.97 level, which had remained the floor through mid-June. The break occurred on a 2-hour candle and subsequently took out the prior swing low near $570. Price of this asset resides below every short and medium moving average on the daily: SMA7 is trending at 585.57, EMA7 is showing the figure of 587.27, and SMA30 is at 617.48 , with the 200-day that stood around 702.49 at the time of writing. This can be called a market that has left its range behind and those who consider it a pullback inside a range are mistaken.
The other one does not fit in this situation. A coin whose value breaches a multi-week support level, followed by expanding downside candles, is expected to have a selling pressure momentum reading of 25 or below. Considering the additional readings, RSI-14 at 39.13 and RSI-21 standing at 41.25 demonstrate that sellers in the market are still in control and in this scenario, exhaustion is still not the case.
The gap is indicating something important
Weak RSI at a breakdown indicates that either the sellers remain not fully committed to this move or the bulls do not have the confidence and have walked away. For a real capitulation, the RSI is falling apart and price drops as if panicked owners are rushing out. This time the buyers and holders are more into the watch mode and are waiting and refusing to add cover; holders are not dropping to $561.
This condition results in a market that is looking for confirmation and not just clearing a stuck position. The MACD shows very little movement, as the line is at -13.75, with the signal displaying the reading of -12.97, and the histogram is a mere -0.78. Based on this, it is pointing out the weaker side of the momentum, although the gap that actually separates the lines isn’t showing growth, a warning sign that the current downtrend remains in place without a sudden wave of selling.
The Fibonacci setup is now making more sense and all of this because of the place that price is in the range. If we consider the $743.36 swing high and the $558.39 low, the 78.6 percent retracement is roughly at $597.97, meaning it is near the daily pivot point at $580.09 following making adjustments for the gap down.
At the time of writing, this digital asset is at the lower of these levels, and the initial $558 low that was utilized in the calculation is expected to be tested once again. Following the case, if that level fails, the market resets the range and that will be forcing traders to reassess the possibility that this is just a pullback or if it’s more of a deeper structural breakdown.
The level that needs to be followed up closely
Now, $558.39 is the significant level and the price point of $580 remains in the hold mode. It is the low of the swing fibonacci structure, and price is currently trading a few dollars slightly above it. If there is a close below that level, it would essentially cancel the current retracement, and it will increase the possibility for the next downside Fibonacci extension zone, a zone that is further lower, although there is no obvious support between now and then.
On the upside, the moving averages like SMA7 and EMA7 regions of $585 to $587 have shifted from support to resistance and this is the first sign that the short-term structure has indeed changed. It seems to be more important compared to a single green candle to take back into account a breakdown followed by that area.
Neither a confirmed reversal nor even a complete collapse is in sight at this point. The RSI is hovering in the high 30s and the price is a little lower than the pivot point and this is a signal that reflects a market that remains in the search mode for direction. This does not represent one that has wrapped up its directional move.
