Bitcoin Asia 2026, that crypto conference that is slated for August in Hong Kong, has staked its speaker list with the who’s who of the global crypto industry. On Friday, the first list of dignitaries set to take stage during the two-day conference was made live by BTC Inc. — a subsidiary of Nakamoto Inc. — which is organizing the event from August 27–28.
Leading the initial lineup is Balaji Srinivasan, the former CTO of Coinbase who later founded the Network School — a startup society on an island near Singapore.
Tron founder and HTX advisor Justin Sun, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen, Acid Capitalist founder Hugh Hendry, and Strive chairpan Matt Cole will be joining Srinivasan to participate as speakers at the event.
The event will essentially put these crypto heavyweights under the same roof with the Asian crypto community as well as the regulators. Sessions headlines by industry leaders will span topics including macro and monetary policy, corporate treasury strategy, as well as the state and future of the Bitcoin infrastructure.
Representatives from the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will be joining crypto players on stage to discuss the status of crypto regulations in Asia and financial satefy against market volatility.
Brandon Green, the CEO of BTC Inc. said, “We are incredibly excited to bring together the East and West Bitcoin markets, industries, and communities to build through this bear market.”
While no prominent player from India has made it to the speaker list of the event so far, Pakistan’s Bilal Bin Saqib will be taking the stage at the conference — that is expected to host around 10,000 attendees. Saqib is the Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), the standalone regulatory body established by Pakistan last year to oversee the national crypto developments with Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) as key advisor.
The conference organizers have said they will be announcing more speakers in the coming weeks. As of now, CZ also has not been listed as a speaker at the conference.
Metaplanet is serving as the title sponsor of Bitcoin Asia 2026.
