Jupiter Exchange (JUP) is a decentralized trading platform on Solana that helps users find routes for token swaps across different liquidity sources. Instead of sending traders to one market, it compares available pools and routes orders through the path that may give better execution. This makes it a useful infrastructure for Solana wallets, apps, and DeFi users. JUP is the project’s token. Its main role is governance, giving holders a way to vote on proposals, community programs, and ecosystem decisions. The token is also connected to staking and reward programs, although details can change through governance.
