ETHGas is an Ethereum infrastructure protocol designed to make transaction execution faster and easier for applications. It creates a blockspace market where validators, builders, and searchers can trade future block inclusion rights before normal block production. The protocol also supports pre-confirmations, which give users execution guarantees before final block inclusion. GWEI Token GWEI is the native governance token of the ETHGas ecosystem. Holders can stake GWEI to receive veGWEI, a non-transferable token that gives voting power. Through governance, veGWEI holders can vote on protocol settings, upgrades, treasury use, incentives, and future product changes. Ecosystem Role ETHGas works with existing Ethereum validator software and does not replace Ethereum consensus. Its Open Gas Initiative helps apps sponsor user gas fees so users can interact without handling changing gas costs directly. The project positions Blockspace as a tradable resource, while GWEI supports community governance across the protocol.
