XRP has not responded with price appreciation and has failed to clear the $1.1 level despite the XRP Ledger community completing adversarial testing for five major features planned in the upcoming XRPL 3.3.0 release. Nonetheless, XRP is currently in a price zone that historically produced huge rallies.
XRP to release 5 major features
As there are five major features planned to be released in the XRPL 3.3.0 release, the XRP community has gotten involved in testing these upgrades. The five upgrades introduce several improvements to the XRP Ledger, including Batch, which allows multiple transactions to be grouped and processed together
The Permissioned Domain feature provides controlled access to specific XRPL applications, while the Single Asset Liquidity feature improves how liquidity can be provided for individual assets. Token Escrow improvements expand the functionality of escrowed assets, and broader security and performance enhancements are designed to make the network more efficient, reliable, and resistant to potential attacks.
2 critical issues, including less sever bugs identified
The XRP community tested these five upgrades successfully against potential hacks. After the testing, the Web3 security firm Sherlock uncovered 2 critical, 6 high, 29 medium, and 59 low issues. Community members who found these bugs were rewarded with a total of $309,000 in RLUSD.
Getting the community involved in testing these features not only raises awareness that upgrades are coming, but it also helps the prices by improving investor confidence. Active community participation shows that developers, validators, and users are engaged with the upgrade and willing to test its functionality before deployment.
This can create greater expectations around improved network performance, security, and utility, potentially attracting more users and capital to the ecosystem. As sentiment improves and investors anticipate stronger adoption following the upgrades, demand for XRP could increase, although the actual price impact will also depend on broader market conditions and whether the upgrades translate into meaningful network usage.
XRP fails to clear $1.10 resistance level

As shown in the chart above, XRP has crashed to the November 2024 support level, which is at $1.02. Although the community expected it to break above the 50-day MA at $1.10, the price crashed and reached this level. However, the specialty of this support level is that it produces huge rallies. Back in 2023, XRP flew past $1.5 from $1.02 within just a few days. As such, a reciprocation could be expected.
