Ondo US Dollar Yield, or USDY, is a tokenized dollar-yield product from Ondo Finance. It serves eligible non-U.S. users who want access to U.S. dollar-denominated returns through blockchain. The system runs with transfer rules, which means that only the approved users of the assets of USDY can use the asset.  The design allows Ondo to comply with the requirements of the work based on the public blockchain systems. The product has already added tokenized financial assets, the usage of which is restricted by the requirement to verify its ownership. The token implements smart contracts to handle transfers and other onchain services. The contracts establish an automatic system to monitor all movements with reduced human work.  Before users can gain access to the product, they undergo verification checks, which are verified by Ondo. USDY is supported on supported blockchain networks, such as Arbitrum.Arbitrum helps lower transaction costs and speeds up settlement by processing activity away from Ethereum’s main chain. The network then posts transaction data back to Ethereum for security.
