About Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid (HYPE) is a decentralized exchange and Layer-1 blockchain built for perpetual futures, spot trading, on-chain apps. Its native token, HYPE, links the trading venue with HyperEVM, the network’s smart-contract environment. HYPE is used for staking, governance, fees, rewards, liquidity, DeFi, infrastructure, collateral, plus access to network services. Users stake HYPE with validators to support security or take part in governance votes. Developers use it for gas on HyperEVM when smart contracts run. Traders use the ecosystem for swaps, derivatives, and order-book markets, with HYPE tied to fee programs plus platform incentives. In its ecosystem, HYPE acts as a resource token for settlement plus coordination. It helps connect trading activity with app development, while giving users one asset for securing the chain, paying costs, accessing services, and participating in decisions. Hyperliquid’s role centers on DeFi infrastructure, where speed, liquidity, and direct market access matter for active crypto users every day across global digital asset markets.
