OKB is a utility token, associated with the worldwide crypto exchange OKX and X Layer, an Ethereum-compatible blockchain. The token allows users to transfer value within the ecosystem, reduce their trading fees, unlock certain services, participate in token sale events, and interact with Web3 applications within the OKX ecosystem. OKB supports account rewards, discounts and payments & promotions on the exchange. OKB is the gas token on X Layer, and users pay transaction fees with OKB in order to trade or move assets and use decentralized apps. It is between centralised trading and the blockchain. OKB helps traders cope with the costs. It is used by developers and app users for blockchain fees, liquidity, DeFi, and to participate in the ecosystem. So OKB is a handy token for exchange services, fees, rewards, access, and infrastructure on OKX. It also is used for payments between OKX partners.
