The Hashnote USYC is a cryptographic digital currency that represents the yield from US Treasuries and reverse repos on US government-backed assets that have been placed in a short position. The USYC token is therefore the primary asset and represents an ERC-20 token and ownership or interest in a specific yield generating investment plan. Unlike a normal fiat currency backed by the dollar, the USYC will grow in value and create profit for the users of the "currency" through an increase in the USYC's token value, thus allowing the value of the USYC token to reflect the interest earned from the fund that issued the token. The new way to create a yield through the programmable capability of BlockChain will be a combination of Traditional Finance and the applications available with blockchain technology. The USYC can be used in both Decentralized Finance DeFi and in Institutional flows that are both transparent and composable when transacted in the approved networks. The USYC will connect ownership on the blockchain to US Treasury Assets off the blockchain.
