The Cardano (ADA) network processed 24,000 transactions yesterday, which is the highest throughput in the past 7 days. With the increase in on-chain activity, ADA is approaching the 200-day MA, as the overall structure shows ADA bottoming. As the Ouroboros Leios upgrade is proposed to be released to the mainnet, the ADA price has more potential.
Cardano processes 24,000 transactions
The Cardano network processed 24,000 transactions yesterday, reaching the highest throughput during the past 7 days. The network activity spiked by 50% during this heightened transaction activity. The surge in Cardano’s network activity could provide a bullish signal for ADA, as higher transaction volumes indicate growing use of the blockchain.
If this increase is sustained, investors could view it as evidence of stronger adoption and demand for Cardano’s ecosystem, potentially improving market sentiment around ADA. This could be particularly positive if other on-chain metrics, such as active addresses, DeFi activity, and transaction fees, also begin to rise.
ADA approaches 200-day MA as Leios upgrade adds to bull rally

Meanwhile, ADA seems to be bottoming out, as shown in the chart above. After a long period of crashing, ADA has found the bottom, and ADA is making a rounded bottom, which slightly has a higher right side.
This suggests selling pressure may be weakening, while buyers are gradually returning to the market. If ADA continues to build higher lows and breaks above the pattern’s resistance, it could confirm a bullish reversal and potentially open the door for a stronger recovery.
But that’s not it; ADA is much more than price alone.
Adding to the bullish outlook is Cardano’s upcoming Ouroboros Leios upgrade, which is targeted for mainnet deployment by the end of 2026. Leios is designed to significantly increase Cardano’s transaction-processing capacity by introducing parallel endorser blocks and separating transaction diffusion from sequencing. The upgrade is expected to potentially increase throughput by 10x to 65x, allowing the network to handle substantially more activity without compromising its security model.
If successfully deployed, the improvement in scalability could attract more users, developers, and applications to Cardano, potentially strengthening demand for ADA. Combined with the network’s rising activity and improving chart structure, the upgrade could give ADA additional upside potential, although it does not guarantee a price rally.
