About Jito

Jito (JTO) is the Solana-based digital currency of the Jito staking protocol. Users of the Jito protocol can stake their Solana (SOL) coins to earn JitoSOL, which will provide them with staking rewards while keeping their SOL coins liquid. One thing that distinguishes Jito from other protocols is its emphasis on MEV (maximum extractable value), which lets the protocol keep and return extra transaction value to protocol users. JTO is also the governance token of Jito and JTO holders are able to vote on the future upgrades and direction of the protocol's ecosystem. Furthermore, JTO can play a pivotal role in advancing the Solana ecosystem by introducing additional staking opportunities, offering liquidity, and facilitating better engagement with the Solana network. JTO is both a utility and a governance-token for a new protocol, which will enhance staking for all.
