About Provenance Blockchain

HASH is the native utility token of Provenance Blockchain, a public proof-of-stake network for financial services. It serves payments, fees, staking, governance, and transaction activity across the chain. Provenance supports lending, payments, marketplaces, and other finance use cases that need fast settlement. Figure launched Provenance Blockchain in 2018, then rebuilt and relaunched it as a public chain in 2021. The network uses the Cosmos SDK and the Tendermint consensus module. As a sovereign Layer 1 chain, it runs with its own validators and native token. Provenance has more than 70 validators across financial services and crypto firms. These validators help protect the network and facilitate transactions under proof-of-stake rules. The chain also gives institutions tools for data control and settlement finality. Billions of dollars in financial transactions have moved through the Provenance Blockchain. Its activity has included lending, payments, and marketplace transactions. The network focuses on transparent financial infrastructure for regulated and on-chain markets.
