UAE-based tech firms are increasing their participation in advancing the national AI efforts as the country shifts its focus from theoretical technology exploration to concrete, enterprise-grade AI execution. On Monday, UAE-based AI company Inception42 announced a partnership with NXT Holding — which is an Abu Dhabi-based, AI-native holding company owned by Sahm Holding. The aim of this partnership is to deploy AI across UAE-based enterprises.
AI consulting, corporate training, and work force upskilling will be among areas of focus under the initiative. In addition, activities like enterprise AI solutions, product distribution, and joint business development will also be prioritized
While Inception42 will bring its enterprise-grade AI technical capabilities to the table, NXT Holding will help distribute this AI technology to its network of companies in the UAE.
“The UAE has placed artificial intelligence at the center of its national vision, and partnership of this nature are how that vision becomes capability,” said H.H. Fatma Tahnoon bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founder and Chairwoman, Sahm Holding, commenting on the development.
In April this year, the UAE Cabinet said it is targeting the deployment of agentic AI solutions across 50 percent of its government sectors by 2028. In June, Dubai’s Crown Price, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also said that a massive push to AI exploration was the main agenda of this meeting.
The rulers of the UAE have advised the country’s key ministers, directors generals, and corporate entities to start work on adopting AI and show speed in implementing new techical and cybersecurity standards.
Earlier this month, Microsoft and G42 also joined forces to fuel UAE government’s goal of injecting agentic AI into its public and private sectors within the next two years.
Inception42 is part of this deal as well and will be providing its Catalyst operation system (OS) as the core orchestration engine to build and govern this ecosystem for autonomous AI agents — while retaining all of the information saved within UAE borders.
