Animoca Brands has launched an investment program of up to $10 million for developers building with Animoca Minds, its platform for creating and managing always-on AI agents.
The company said the fund will support early-stage teams using Minds as a core product layer across areas such as gaming, finance, productivity and social applications.
Fund targets agentic web startups
Animoca Minds allows users to deploy and direct AI agents through email and messaging platforms, without needing to run local servers or manage hardware and software.
Animoca said the investment program will focus on teams with a clear product thesis, strong execution ability and a practical path toward deployable products and scalable businesses. The company said allocations will be based on project quality rather than a fixed investment schedule.
Selected teams may also receive platform support, direct access to the Minds technical team and potential partnership opportunities across Animoca Brands’ portfolio of more than 600 Web3 companies.
Minds pushes persistent AI agents
Animoca is using Minds to push beyond single-session AI assistants, focusing instead on agents that can keep context, coordinate tasks and remain accessible through common messaging channels.
The company said the platform is designed to make agent deployment easier by removing the need for users to operate their own technical infrastructure.
“We are entering a new era in which agentic AI will fundamentally reshape how we interact with technology, value, and each other,” Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu said.
Siu said the convergence of blockchain and AI could unlock new forms of creativity, coordination and economic participation.
“Just as blockchain redefined digital ownership, agentic AI will redefine autonomy, unlocking new forms of creativity, coordination, and economic participation,” he said. “This convergence represents one of the most significant shifts of our time, and it is critical that we build and invest in this future now in a way that is able to benefit everyone.”
